Babies!!!

I love babies, I always have. Their cute chubby little cheeks, nubby little knees, even their sent. Ryan and I have discussed having children after we get married. I want a daughter so i can do all the mother/daughter stuff that i do with my mom. 

Well the other night I was thinking about Ryan & I, when we would have children and such. When we had discussed it before it seemed like I wanted to wait a couple of years but he didn't. But the other night i was thinking that maybe we shouldn't wait to have children. Ryan is 4 years older then me so he is almost thirty, I figure that since he is getting older we shouldn't wait, I have a feeling its going to take awhile to get pregnant so we should start right away. When I mentioned this to him he said that we should wait a year, maybe a year and a half. I was surprised at his response but I'm going to talk to him about this again before the wedding and see if he changes his mind. You never know, he just might!

Wedding Planning

So the wedding planning is underway sort of speak. I have gotten tons of wedding magazines and cut out the pictures of the things I like. I know i want my bridesmaids to wear purple tea length dresses and the groomsmen to wear black suits with purple ties/handkerchiefs. As for flowers I want my bouquet to have roses and Gerber daises. We haven't decided where we want to have the wedding but Im sure we will decided soon. 

I can't wait to get married and start my life with Ryan. We have all these ideas for our future, i can;t wait to make them reality.

First Major Fight

So Ryan and I had our first major fight on Saturday Night and it was horrible. I won't go into details about what it was about, but it sucked. I thought that our relationship was going to be over. But after over an hour of fighting we agreed to disagree and put the issue aside for another day. Now would never even know we had a fight, everything is back to normal and we are starting to think about life after the wedding, where we are going to live, etc. I am actually glad we had the fight when we did, it made us realize that we still had some things to work out before we get married  but it won't stop us from getting married. We as so looking forward to married life and embarking on our future together!

Welcome back to the real world

So its been a week since I got back from visiting Ryan and I'm already itching to go back. I had a great time with him. We cooked together, walked the mall looking at wedding bands and tuxes, it was a blast. I even got to meet some of Ryan's coworkers when we went out to a bar named Champions for burgers and pool. Most of all I just enjoyed being with Ryan, being able to look at him when I talked to him, kissing him when i wanted too. I am so tired of the whole long distance relationship thing. I hate not being able to see him after work and on the weekends. But its only for another year, Ryan  plans to move back home right before wedding so we can be close to our families. So over all the trip was great, i wish i could go back every weekend!

First Bridal Show

So Yesterday I went to my first bridal show with my cousin Mattie. The Show was in Newport, RI at Rosecliff and Oceancliff Mansions. It was so much fun, crowded but fun. Their was all sorts of vendors from photography to gift registry. I got some ideas as to what I'd like to incorporate in to my wedding. It was a long day though, we were their from 10:45 to 5, and even then my day wasn't over! After dropping Mattie back at her car i went over the Mews to meet up with Josh. Josh is a close friend of mine who also happens to be my little brother in KKPsi ( the coed fraternity i was in while in college). We had a fabulous dinner and then he gave me a present, a new set of letter!!!! I was so surprised! The letters are black with purple backings on a black sweatshirt, and my nickname is on it too! It it so cool.

Now that the bridal show is over i can focus on my trip to see Ryan on Thursday. I am so excited to see him, I haven't seen him since Christmas! All i have to do is get threw the nest 3 days and pack my suitcase then its Bon Voyage!

I got an interview!!!

So since about the end of December I have been looking for a second job. I have sent out resume after resume and nothing. Then on Monday I got a call from The Point Judith Country Club, they are looking for a receptionist. I have an interview tomorrow at 10:30, wish me luck I really want this this job. The hours are perfect and the Club closes just before school starts for the fall so i cal work up threw the summer and stock pile my money, maybe get an iPhone! 

In other news Valentines day is on Saturday. Yes it sucks that i don't get see Ryan but his gift to me is a plane ticket to visit him! So on the 26 i fly to Maryland to spend 3 days and 4 nights with him, I can't wait!! Speaking of seeing people, next Saturday I get to see one of my best guy friends, Josh. When I was in College I was in a coed fraternity and Josh was my little brother. We became very close but when i graduated I don't have the time to go back and visit. So Josh thought it would be nice for us to get together and catch up. I am so looking forward to seeing him.

Well its a beautiful day so I'm off to enjoy it!

Welcome to my life

So after reading my friends blog i decided to start my own. The next year and a half of my life is going to be crazy. On May 15th, 2008 I got engaged to the love of my life Ryan. So now i am starting to plan our wedding, the only problem being Ryan is 8 hours away in Frederick, MD. We have been doing the long distance relationship thing for the last  3 years or so. Its been tough but worth it. Now not only am i planning a wedding but i am also going back to school to get my medical coding specialist certificate. I'll finish the program a few weeks before the wedding. Thankfully my mom is going to be helping me with everything. I hope the nest year goes by fast because I can't wait to become Mrs. Ryan Mott!
