School

So I have been back in school for just over 2 months, going for my medical coding/billing certificate. I'm take 6 courses this semester including anatomy and coding. I love my coding class, I really enjoy coding, I find it fun and interesting. In a week I will finish my first coding class and start my second one, I am so looking forward to it, Then next semester I'll take medical billing, math, practical apps and one other course to finish up the program in May. Once I finish the program i will take my certification exam and hopeful get a job. For now I am going to focus on school and wedding planning

Wedding is coming together!

So it has been 2.5 months since i have given an update on the wedding. Since i last posted i have been dress shopping twice, to four different stores and tried on more dress then I can keep track of. I narrowed it down to 2 dresses after shopping on Thursday. Now after thinking about it for 2 days i have decided on which will be THE DRESS!!! I'm going to go back to the place to try it on again before i order it, but i found my dress. Its so beautiful, and I feel like a princess in it. No one will get to see what it looks like though until the wedding, i want it to be a surprise. I have also begun looking at bridesmaid dresses for the 4 lovely ladies that will join me up at the alter on my big day. I found some styles online that i liked, but they weren't as flattering as i thought they would be. But I did get some great ideas. My mom and I have been researching favor ideas. We seem to like clear heart shaped container that we would fill with m&ms or Jelly Bellies. Next on the agenda is invitations and registry, then after the new has begun we will focus on food, flowers, music, and finalize centerpiece ideas. In the spring Ryan will decided on tuxes and I'll work on the cake. Before I know it the big day will be here! I can't wait, I am so looking forward to becoming Mr. Ryan Mott.

NEW CELL PHONE!!!!

Last night i went with Ryan to AT&T to join his family plan and got a new phone. We were thier for almost two hours and in the end Ryan and I walked out with matching LG Xenon's! I love it, or i will love it once we get me succesfully moved over from Verizon to AT&T. Its been a slow, pain in the but process but i can't wait to get my new phone working.

Babies!!!

I love babies, I always have. Their cute chubby little cheeks, nubby little knees, even their sent. Ryan and I have discussed having children after we get married. I want a daughter so i can do all the mother/daughter stuff that i do with my mom. 

Well the other night I was thinking about Ryan & I, when we would have children and such. When we had discussed it before it seemed like I wanted to wait a couple of years but he didn't. But the other night i was thinking that maybe we shouldn't wait to have children. Ryan is 4 years older then me so he is almost thirty, I figure that since he is getting older we shouldn't wait, I have a feeling its going to take awhile to get pregnant so we should start right away. When I mentioned this to him he said that we should wait a year, maybe a year and a half. I was surprised at his response but I'm going to talk to him about this again before the wedding and see if he changes his mind. You never know, he just might!

First Major Fight

So Ryan and I had our first major fight on Saturday Night and it was horrible. I won't go into details about what it was about, but it sucked. I thought that our relationship was going to be over. But after over an hour of fighting we agreed to disagree and put the issue aside for another day. Now would never even know we had a fight, everything is back to normal and we are starting to think about life after the wedding, where we are going to live, etc. I am actually glad we had the fight when we did, it made us realize that we still had some things to work out before we get married  but it won't stop us from getting married. We as so looking forward to married life and embarking on our future together!

Welcome back to the real world

So its been a week since I got back from visiting Ryan and I'm already itching to go back. I had a great time with him. We cooked together, walked the mall looking at wedding bands and tuxes, it was a blast. I even got to meet some of Ryan's coworkers when we went out to a bar named Champions for burgers and pool. Most of all I just enjoyed being with Ryan, being able to look at him when I talked to him, kissing him when i wanted too. I am so tired of the whole long distance relationship thing. I hate not being able to see him after work and on the weekends. But its only for another year, Ryan  plans to move back home right before wedding so we can be close to our families. So over all the trip was great, i wish i could go back every weekend!

I got an interview!!!

So since about the end of December I have been looking for a second job. I have sent out resume after resume and nothing. Then on Monday I got a call from The Point Judith Country Club, they are looking for a receptionist. I have an interview tomorrow at 10:30, wish me luck I really want this this job. The hours are perfect and the Club closes just before school starts for the fall so i cal work up threw the summer and stock pile my money, maybe get an iPhone! 

In other news Valentines day is on Saturday. Yes it sucks that i don't get see Ryan but his gift to me is a plane ticket to visit him! So on the 26 i fly to Maryland to spend 3 days and 4 nights with him, I can't wait!! Speaking of seeing people, next Saturday I get to see one of my best guy friends, Josh. When I was in College I was in a coed fraternity and Josh was my little brother. We became very close but when i graduated I don't have the time to go back and visit. So Josh thought it would be nice for us to get together and catch up. I am so looking forward to seeing him.

Well its a beautiful day so I'm off to enjoy it!

Welcome to my life

So after reading my friends blog i decided to start my own. The next year and a half of my life is going to be crazy. On May 15th, 2008 I got engaged to the love of my life Ryan. So now i am starting to plan our wedding, the only problem being Ryan is 8 hours away in Frederick, MD. We have been doing the long distance relationship thing for the last  3 years or so. Its been tough but worth it. Now not only am i planning a wedding but i am also going back to school to get my medical coding specialist certificate. I'll finish the program a few weeks before the wedding. Thankfully my mom is going to be helping me with everything. I hope the nest year goes by fast because I can't wait to become Mrs. Ryan Mott!
